Discover COLORADO in it's finest glory!
About The Lodge From your private bedroom, or suite at "The Flying Diamond of Lost Creek Ranch" you will enjoy some of the most spectacular views in Summit County! Wake up to the sunrise lighting up the entire GORE RANGE, and witness the parade of colors at sunset.
Located on 22 acres at the foot of Ute Mountain, the Lodge is quietly tucked into the hillside, making the wildlife of Summit County feel comfortable in visiting - it is not unusual to see 5 or 10 deer grazing in the back yard, or a cotton tail, or snowshoe rabbit checking out the guests. You may even spot an eagle, hawk or owl flying around the massive cliffs behind the Lodge.

About Your Hosts
Your Hosts, Bob and Gayle Knorr are both Colorado Natives. "While we enjoy traveling and discoving new places, we always find our way back home to the Beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains."
Bob is one of the fourth generation of Knorr's in the Summit County area and was born just down the road in Kremmling. After graduating from UNC in Greeley, Bob came back to his home to use his entrepreneurial skills in the Bar and Restaurant business, and several retail stores, and of course found time to help Grandad out at the ranch during Haying Season.
Gayle was brought up on the front range - Born in Boulder and raised in Arvada, just minutes away from Downtown Denver. She moved to the Mountains in the late 1970's to help run the family business - The Mountain View Motel in Frisco.
After marrying in the '80s, Bob and Gayle raised their two boys, Jeremy and Chris, and began building their dream home - the 7000 square foot Flying Diamond of Lost Creek Ranch, always keeping in mind the hospitality side of their personalities. The Lodge was built with plenty of room for socializing, yet allows for private space with a Log Cabin feel.
